Being on our dance team is a wonderful opportunity to develop technical dance skills while making great friends and building confidence. Our dance team students experience the joy of performing at various regional dance competition events in the area and work together with their team to learn and grow as dancers. This is a full school-year commitment, September through June, and requires regular attendance in classes and rehearsals.

Each team dancer is required to compete in Jazz and Lyrical with the option of competing additional styles such as Tap, Hip hop and Musical Theater. All team dancers are also required to attend a 1 hour technique class each week.

We welcome new dancers into our competitive program each year. An audition is required to be placed on a team, so if you are interested in joining out competition program, please email aimdancemelrose@gmail.com to set up a time to meet with an instructor!
